Senior Sales Account Manager and Sales Account Manager (2 Positions)

Amersham, UK

Salary: Competitive + Commission

Flitetec has over 30 years experience in the design, manufacture, integrate and overhaul cabin interior products and is certified for EASA Part 21 subpart G and EASA Part 145 release. We specialise in vacuum forming of polycarbonate materials, overhauling and producing products such as meal trays, seat backs, aisle side shrouds, centre console fairings, in arm tray liners, cocktail tables, in fills, bump strips, mirrors, threshold strips, monument & galley floor fitting covers. We also design a range of innovate tablet holders and design and integrate power USB conversions into existing seats, including mounting plates, covers and injection moulded escutcheons.

Our customers include airlines, OEM seat and interior manufacturers, MRO operators, Leasing companies and 2nd tier interior manufacturers in the UK, Europe, North America, Middle East and Far East.

Purpose of job

  • Selling Flitetec’s design, manufacturing and overhaul capability to new and existing customers in designated regions and markets
  • Identifying new opportunities and leading the business development process from quotation through to order receipt
  • Upselling unsolicited enquiries to incorporate our whole product range capability
  • Key Account management providing after sales support and customer relationship management
  • Plan and manage marketing campaigns to key accounts and new customers
  • Building of own customer base, business development, strategy and development of new markets
  • Assist in the planning, attendance and stand management of exhibitions and trade shows in the UK and abroad

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers business through planned individual account support and liaison including regular customer visits
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by preparing quotations on the company business system and following up by telephone, email and personal visit to secure the order
  • Maintain and update the CRM module within the company business system, providing a prospects and sales pipeline summary
  • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information and analysis where required
  • Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys
  • Work towards achieving agreed, measurable performance targets and standards

Key skills and competencies

  • Minimum 3 years previous sales experience (aviation based)
  • Existing relationships within the aircraft interiors market an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and selling skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of international customers, both from the office, by telephone or in writing, and face to face. 2nd language an advantage
  • Educated to a higher education level – a degree and an engineering background an advantage

Assembly Operatives

Amersham, UK

Salary: Competitive (Relative to experience) + Company performance bonus

Hours: 38 hours per week, Mon - Thurs 07.30 – 16.15, Fri – 07.30 – 12.15

Holiday: 24 days per year plus bank holidays

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Bonding and assembly of polycarbonate aircraft interior products such as meal tray tables, seat backs, literature pockets, magazine racks etc
  • Assembly of composite honeycomb components
  • Ability to follow work instructions drawings
  • Complete assembly operations within the designated time
  • Self certify completed work is correct to drawing (after trail period and issue of self cert inspection stamp)
  • Actively participate and contribute to lean manufacturing sessions to improve production efficiency

Key skills and competencies

  • Previous experience in the assembly of manufactured components
  • Aerospace interiors assembly experience an advantage
  • Use of hand and machine tools for trimming, cutting and bonding
  • Experience of reading engineering drawings
  • A good eye for detail
  • On the job training will be provided
  • Good time keeping and attendance record
